This book shows Black women how to go about getting involved in interracial relationships and deal with the social pressures that such relationships inevitably attract. It shows how you can clear out your old social conditioning and inhibitions about interracial relationships, tune out the expectations that you should date only Blacks and clarify your reasons for romantic and sexual attraction to White men. This book shows where and how you can go about meeting White men, how to make yourself more interracially approachable, offers guidelines for screening mature and emotionally available White males into your social life and helps you move beyond the shortage of Black men. Does A Bad Economy Impact Interracial Relationships?

If anybody sees any sort of impact from the steadily worsening economy on interracial relationships, feel free to post whatever you know of on this blog. By "impact" I am referring to two things: do you see any sort of reluctance on the part of either Whites or Blacks to "stick their neck out" by getting involved with someone of another race, because times are getting tough, as well as whether you see (or hear about?) that there is any sort of increased social pressure, explicit or implicit, to stick to members of your own race, possibly promulgated by family members? It would come as no surprise to hear that certain types of men with a less-than-minimal attachment to the labor force might be pressuring women of their own race to socialize only within their own race and telling those women bestow a large portion fo their paychecks on those stay-at-home gentlemen of leisure.

Those who have read one or both of my books know that I like to throw in quotes from authors such as Shakespeare to help illustrate that the problems that interracial couples sometimes encounter actually derive from psychological wellsprings common to all people, meaning fundamental emotions such as envy and jealousy.

One basic premise of my books is the opposition that interracial couples encounter is a result of human beings being born with genetically determined behavioral predispositions known as instincts. Those who attempt to disrupt interracial relationships are actually attempting to exert social control over those they perceive as being members of their social group, tribe, class, race, etc. These attempts to disrupt and control interracial relationships are thus of an instinctual, as opposed to rational, nature, and defy rational explanation precisely because they are genetically-determined forms of instinctual behavior that becamwe embedded in our genetic code during the millions of years our ancestors spent in the environment of evolutionary adapation wherein such instincts had survival value. The problem is that what was good in the Stone Age is not good for the modern era, but the instincts remain in place nevertheless.
