I actually didnt think the article resonated with me. People will be curious who cares, they will ask questions that come off blunt. From my experience being in an interracial relationship, which actually I am a black women who has only dated white men, unintentionally, the first step for me is to not think every action or stare i get from others has anything to do with my interracial relationship. yes, people will look, but so what it's a beautiful thing. I stare at same race couples all the time haha. what i've also noticed is that other interracial couples or people in that sorta relationship also look at other interracial couples in public. I've seen them passing and looking consious of their races and the fact that they are holding hands and it looks like they think they're being judged when really it could be a million possibilities why someone is looking at them. I personally dont read books about interracial dating because if it's natural and meant to be, the relationship will be fine. I have a lot more depth to my character than just being a black women.
